Celebrating International Human Rights Day at Our School

Every year on December 10, the world comes together to honor International Human Rights Day, a date that reminds us of the fundamental rights and freedoms that belong to every person. This year marks the 77th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and our school community has embraced the occasion with creativity and purpose.

Did you know that only 5% of the global population has read the Human Rights Declaration at least once? To help close this gap and raise awareness, our 1st Bilingual ESO students have taken action! They designed vibrant posters featuring 20 of the 30 Articles in both English and Spanish, now proudly displayed on classroom doors throughout the school.

But that’s not all—they also recorded these articles in both languages, bringing the words to life with their voices. You can explore their work and listen to their recordings in the presentation linked below.

Through these initiatives, we aim to make Human Rights visible and meaningful for everyone in our educational community. Let’s continue to learn, share, and stand together for equality and dignity!
